The Little Biggar Band is a four-piece ceilidh band based in Biggar, southern Scotland. Tom Grassie (flute, caller), Sarah Northcott (fiddle, caller), Duggi Caird (accordion) and Matt Smith (guitar) bring many years of experience on the ceilidh scene to getting folk dancing at every opportunity! We’re available to play at local ceilidhs in the Borders, Midlothian and Lanarkshire, but we also regularly travel to Edinburgh, Glasgow, throughout Scotland and further afield to play for weddings, birthday parties, conferences and celebrations of all kinds.
The band can expand for larger gigs, adding bass to become The Bigger Little Biggar Band…or is it The Elastic Little Biggar Band?
